When it comes to Quizizz, we can consider it as a relevant tool for language learning due to the fact that it is a platform that transforms "learning process" into an appealing activity in which students can both learn and have fun at the moment of learning a new topic or simply to improve their English level skill. 

Using it to foster language learning 

As it has been previously mentioned, Quizizz offers a variety of topics that can engage students into improving their vocabulary. As a result of these different options for learning, teachers can choose the most suitable way for their student's English level improvement. For instance, the teacher can enhance student's vocabulary by displaying an interactive presentation to teach the topic-related words through slides and between them some multiple-choice questions will appear as an engaging way to test student's attention.  

It must be noted that the Quiz style games that this platform offers are fun and full of knowledge for high school and elementary students as well. Furthermore, it provides to students the possibility to healthily compete between themselves to see who gets the most points out of their classmates at the same time they are developing their English skills.

Limitiations when using this technology with the purposes of language learning

Nonetheless, if we want to incorporate Quizizz activities within classrooms with low SES students, it can become a bit difficult if not impossible to use it.

For instance, not all students have access to either a smartphone or a laptop to work on. Additionally, there are schools which do not have enough money to invest in day-to-day technological devices for both its students and teachers. Moreover, there is a time limit for each question to be asked, so if students are not fast enough, they can be left behind.  

This second issue can affect learners who are not good at dealing with standardized tests, which they mostly have a time limit for. Therefore, having the opportunity to think for a bit longer while completing the activities may help students to answer properly.
